oatmeal cookies
If you went to Warm Foods and liked the oatmeal cookies [info]magickalpony and I made, she posted the recipe which she partly improvized as we made them. Unfortunately the last batch in the blue bowl was underbaked, so if you tried them late you missed the good ones.

But under-baked cookies are my favorite kind! Mmm, gooey.

I like gooey cookies, but that's not quite the same thing. The properly baked ones were still quite soft. The underbaked ones were just underbaked. Not what you're probably thinking of.

Well, I'm also quite fond of raw cookie-dough, so it's difficult to err too far in that direction in my case. ;) I'm sure the properly done ones were also delightful, though.

Maple syrup and coconut milk! Genius! I'll have to try them.

The coconut milk in this case was not genius, it was simply "hmm, we have some coconut milk left over from [info]silentmachine's visit, can we use it in these cookies?"

Necessity breeds the best and tastiest sort of genius. Yum yum yum!
